  • Additional discounts for all NHS, Military & Emergency Services personnel (this is extended to the entire bridal party so your partner, bridesmaids, groomsmen or parents/grandparents can claim this on your behalf)

There is no charge for appointments here @ LWD but we do ask for a small refundable (£25) deposit for weekend bookings. This is refundable on the day regardless of purchase and is simply in place to safeguard our time during our busiest hours.

Your appointment can of course be re-arranged but we would ask you to give us a minimum of 48 hours notice. A last minute change or non attendance would forfeit this deposit - thank you.


For your appointment...

  • A strapless bra, light colours & comfortable underwear is helpful for trying on wedding dresses, you can opt for bridal underwear but its not essential until your first fitting
  • We do not have sample dresses, our gowns are one offs so please do not come to your appointment wearing fake tan as we may have to re-arrange your appointment
  • Please wear minimal make up (foundation) as this can leave marks on the gowns
  • Apologies but we are unable to accommodate babies or children aged under 8 years during appointments
  • No food or drink, other than water is permitted in our store
  • The nearest car park is St.George's on Bath Street (DA11 0TA). If you walk past the church on your left you will cross a small road to a cobbled street - turn left into the Heritage Quarter & you will see us
  • Bridal parties are limited to the bride + 3 guests
A polite request - if you, your attending bridal party or any member of your respective households are unwell - or have been in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment - please reschedule
